# Server Technical Requirements

## Operating systems

* Windows Server 2012 or later (all releases)<br>
* Windows 8 / 8.1 / 10 (recommended for development environments only)

## Web server

* Microsoft IIS 8 or higher<br>
* .NET Framework 4.6.1

## .NET 4 support

* Support for .NET web services and web forms developed by the client<br>
* WorkflowGen software itself requires .NET Framework 4.6.1

## Minimum hardware configuration

### Hardware

* Quad-core processor<br>
* 8 GB RAM<br>
* SATA hard disk with 40 GB free

### Database servers

* Microsoft SQL Server 2012, R2 and Express Edition<br>
* Microsoft SQL Server 2014 and Express Edition<br>
* Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and Express Edition<br>
* Microsoft SQL Server 2017 and Express Edition<br>
* Microsoft SQL Server 2019 and Express Edition<br>
* Microsoft Azure SQL Database
